The Last Lecture
As students from all over the globe find themselves in full navigating new “normals” for school and learning this month, a video has popped up again and again. Not a new one, but one that bears watching again and again – and that is the Last Lecture by Professor Randy Pausch. An empowering academic who inspired and moved people to action with his powerful words delivered as his literal last lecture. With humor, heart, and absolute candor, he shares his views on achieving your childhood dreams. If you haven’t watched it – or even if you have – it might be something you’d like to take in this week. Great reminders of life inspired. It’s definitely worth the watch. Find it here. I wish you a tremendous week filled with fulfilled dreams and great humor. That’s what it’s all about! I’m here if you need anything! Have a great week.
DIY Tip for the Week
This week we are looking at cool cleaners to have on hand like Goof Off, Goo Gone, and the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. The first two are perfect for removing stickers, tar, gum, dried paint drops, grease and a host of other unwanted substances quickly and without a lot of frustrating scrubbing by using a general-purpose cleaning solvent. They’re a little stinky, but they make short work of nasty, gummy messes like price tag adhesive residue! And the Magic Eraser is amazing for its ability to clean without sprays or detergents!
Real Estate Tip of the Week
Homes with trees photograph better when they are full, rather than late autumn when they start to bare. So, if you’re thinking of selling – let’s get photos sooner, rather than later!
